Vanessa is an experienced Non-Executive Director and ‘C suite’ executive with 25 years’ experience in government, large corporations and the NFP sector, with specific expertise in finance, strategy and transformational change.

Vanessa is currently the Chief Operating Officer of the Australian Banking Association responsible, the Non-Executive Director of Variety the Childrens Charity and Driveabout World and serves as a Judge of the Eureka Prize.

Charissa Brooks is General Manager, Brand & Marketing at Australian Payments Plus (AP+) where she oversees strategic marketing initiatives across all AP+ brands and channels. AP+ was formed in 2022 and brings together Australia’s domestic payment companies, BPAY, eftpos and NPP Australia in one integrated entity to shape the future of payments for Australia.

Lynne is a Banking and Financial Services leader with over 20 years experience in the Australian Banking Sector . She has held senior positions with Westpac and CBA in Finance, Payments and Transformation roles. Since 2018 Lynne has been the Executive Director Banking and Financial Services within NSW Treasury. Her role manages the overall liquidity for the State and oversees the reform of Banking and Payments across NSW to deliver simpler, faster, safer payment options for the citizens business and suppliers of NSW Government.

Nish has over 27 years of experience in banking across Australia and Asia. Prior to AWS, she was the Managing Director, Global Head of Product for Global Transaction Banking at Westpac Institutional Bank based in Australia. She led the GTS Product organisation and transformation programs across the New Payments, Corporate Cards and held accountability for Customer Deposit products, Digital channels & Payment products enterprise wide. In addition, she led the Liquidity & Balance Sheet initiatives for Corporate & Institutional Bank at Westpac.

Vicky is an experienced payments leader with sixteen years at American Express where she has held leadership roles in Payments Policy, New Product Development, Partnerships and Emerging Payments. Vicky has a passion for global digital payments and data and played a leading role in setting up the American Express payment network in China from scratch. She is an advocate for talent, diversity and inclusion, and mental health awareness and was the recipient of the 2022 Women in Payments Advocate for Women Award.

Anna Fowler is Head of Customer Success at Azupay and a recognised leader in Australia’s payments industry, with 18+ years shaping transaction banking and real-time payments. She partners with banks, fintechs and enterprise merchants to drive scalable adoption of modern payment solutions. Anna is a strong advocate for advancing Australia’s real-time payments ecosystem through collaboration and high industry standards.

Danielle Johnson is Managing Director, International Payments & Digital Procurement for Westpac’s Global Transaction Services business. Based in Australia her role includes International Payments for New Zealand and Singapore, she is also responsible for the ISO 20022 compliance programme for High Value and International payments for the bank. Danielle has over 20 years of experience in banking and payments across Australia and Asia. Prior to Westpac she led the APAC Regional Transactional FX team for J.P. Morgan was also Regional Payments Product Manager in Citibank based in Singapore.

Ankita Khanna is a payments leader with over a decade of experience across banking, fintech and global payments. She is passionate about bringing ecosystem partners together to solve merchant challenges, drive innovation and support the next generation of leaders.

Monique offers 30 years’ experience in Banking and Finance in Australia and joined Amrop Carmichael Fisher in 2003, as a Founding Partner and is Head of Practice for Banking, Payments and FinTech in Australia. She has been instrumental with the company’s growth and presence in Financial Services.

Enthusiastic about helping her clients achieve their strategic goals, her focus is creating and building teams to lead, transform and evolve.

Jo Moxey is a business executive and growth leader who currently serves as Chief Growth Officer (CGO) at Tyro Payments, one of Australia’s leading fintech and payments companies. She is known for her experience in large-scale sales leadership, customer experience transformation, banking operations, and commercial growth strategy.

Alison has over 18 years’ experience in e-commerce & fintech, including 10 yrs at PayPal. She was previously pivotal in scaling a payments startup to $8B in annual transactions and now leads a team helping businesses grow through tailored solutions

Kirstin Renner is the Head of Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) for Citi in Australia and New Zealand and a member of Citi’s TTS Asia Pacific Executive Committee. She is responsible for leading the business strategy and driving growth opportunities in Australia and New Zealand. Kirstin holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from the Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology.

Leah is a dynamic and seasoned executive with over 15 years of experience in the professional services and payments industry. As Vice President in Mastercard’s Services business, Leah leads the Retail & Commerce and Government segments in Australia, driving innovative solutions and strategic growth. She joined Mastercard nine year ago through the acquisition of Applied Predictive Technologies, an analytics software company.

Gulshan Singh is Head of Payments Policy at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. She started her career as a physiotherapist before pivoting to financial services where she has built over 20 years of experience in public policy, advocacy and regulatory affairs in banking and general insurance. Gulshan and her team are responsible for influencing payments public policy by contributing evidence based views to inform the public debate and shape the future of the Australian payments system.

Lisa has more than 15 years HR leadership experience across fintech, travel and advertising. Responsible for attracting, developing and retaining the talent necessary to achieve Fiserv’s goals. A leader of the Women’s Impact Network at Fiserv, she is passionate about developing strong culture, values and female talent.

Tara Tubman is currently Head of Sales, Merchant Services at National Australia Bank, where she is working to support the growth and future commercialization of NAB’s acquiring business. She has 20 years of experience in payments in the Asia Pacific region (having lived in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Australia) and has worked in various sales leadership roles across all segments at American Express, Citibank, and HSBC

Nicole Waaka is Head of Corporate Sales at Bank of America in Sydney, Australia. She leads, develops, and executes the sales strategy for Australian and multinational corporate clients across the full suite of Global Payments Solutions products.

Louise Yiu leads the business management of HSBC’s Global Payments Solutions division, including business planning, financial performance management, and adoption of new technologies to drive operational efficiency and client experience.
