Sharing her career journey by answering the six questions below.
Who or what has been your biggest source of inspiration throughout your career?
My biggest source of inspiration has been the intersection of continuous learning and collaborative impact. Throughout my career, I have been energized by being in environments where learning never stops, challenges push me to grow, and the work we perform as a team creates meaningful value for our business and customers. Data analysis has always been my passion, for its power to uncover insights that drive real change. What truly inspires me is being involved in the complete journey: from identifying opportunities through data to developing innovative solutions and seeing those initiatives implemented and delivered. It is incredible to watch an idea transform from analysis into tangible business results. I’ve also been fortunate to work alongside exceptional leaders who have shaped my perspective through their approach, experience and values. Observing them navigating challenges, driving change and developing their teams has been an invaluable source of inspiration.
Would you say your success is primarily due to luck or hard work?
I attribute my success primarily to hard work, empathy, commitment, courage and genuine passion for what I do. These have become part of my personal brand and have been key for my growth within the organization. While luck and timing certainly play a role, it only matters if you have the knowledge, experience and skills to capitalize on it. Success happens when preparation meets opportunity.
What is the driving force behind your career aspirations?
My career is driven by professional impact and personal purpose. Professionally, I’m motivated by personal growth and seeing how my work, ideas and decisions create meaningful impact and change; being equally passionate about inspiring and supporting others in their career journeys. On a personal level, my family is my greatest driving force, especially my husband with whom I share the passion for finance and data, and my 2-year-old son who inspires me every day with his boundless curiosity. I want to be an example for him on the importance of hard work, discipline and genuine passion for what you do, to achieve your goals.
If given the chance to do one thing differently in your career, what would it be and why?
To be more confident about myself and not let overthinking prevent me from taking bigger challenges. Be more objective and vocal about my achievements. The importance of believing in yourself while staying committed to continuous learning and growth.
What was your most favourite job/role and why?
My current role, leading the Business Management team for Global Payments Solutions in LATAM, has been my most fulfilling position to date. What makes this role exceptional is its dynamic scope and strategic impact. Maintaining a broad vision of the business strategy while directly contributing to is execution across multiple dimensions. This diverse focus creates continuous challenges and complexity, that require both strategic thinking and tactical execution.
Do you have a favourite motto or quote that guides your professional life?
“Lead with empathy, and others will follow with trust”. Building genuine relationships by ensuring the team feel heard and valued, establishes the foundation for high-performing teams characterized by strong engagement, collaboration and shared commitment. Prioritizing understanding of each team member’s perspective, concerns and motivations consistently drives superior results across all aspects of leadership and organizational performance.
