Who or what has been your biggest source of inspiration throughout your career?

I’ve had the good fortune of many great managers over the years who have inspired me through their knowledge, skills, and encouragement.

Would you say your success is primarily due to luck or hard work?

Hard work has certainly presented opportunities and contributed to my success, but there’s always an element of luck!

What is the driving force behind your career aspirations?

It’s the sense of pride and accomplishment that comes from tackling and achieving a difficult goal, in whatever guise.

If given the chance to do one thing differently in your career, what would it be and why?

Recognizing and leveraging my strengths from an earlier age, rather than focusing on any shortcomings.

What was your most favourite job/role and why?

I’ve had some fantastic roles with broad remits, but really enjoyed Payment Optimization, supporting customers to improve their business models and increasing their payment success.

Do you have a favourite motto or quote that guides your professional life?

The devil is in the detail!
