Sharing her career journey by answering the six questions below.

Who or what has been your biggest source of inspiration throughout your career?

There are a few – two mentors and my mum. Each of them shaped me in different ways.

My mentors taught me the importance of preparation and having systems in place to enable consistent performance. They helped me realize there isn’t a predefined mould for being a great leader, but rather finding my own strengths and values, and leading in a way that feels true to who I am.

My mum role-modelled to me grit and resilience – showing up, doing the work, and moving forward even when things are difficult.

Those lessons have stayed with me through every stage of my career and continue to influence how I work, lead, and support others today.

Would you say your success is primarily due to luck or hard work?

80% hard work, 20% timing. Hard work creates the foundation – you build your skills, credibility, and relationships over time. Timing and opportunity do matter too.

I also believe that the energy you bring attracts similar people and opportunities. You can’t always control timing, but you can control your preparation and how you show up every day.

What is the driving force behind your career aspirations?

The answer has evolved over time. Early in my career, I was driven by achievement, competition, and the desire to prove myself. Today, what motivates me is helping clients solve problems, unlock growth, and navigate change. Knowing that I have made someone’s day easier or helped a business move forward can be incredibly rewarding.

I would also like to be a role-model to my kids, to show them what it looks like to pursue meaningful work with curiosity, resilience, and heart.

If given the chance to do one thing differently in your career, what would it be and why?

To not wait for the perfect moment or conditions, because it doesn’t exist.

I have learned that growth comes from taking on challenges before you feel fully ready and figuring things out along the way.

What was your most favourite job/role and why?

My current role. It brings together commercial strategy, relationship building, and problem-solving in a fast-evolving yet extremely relatable industry (payments!). And of course the great team of people that I am working with everyday!

Also, I am a firm believer of the grass is greenest where you water it.

Do you have a favourite motto or quote that guides your professional life?
