WOMEN IN PAYMENTS 2023 LATAM SYMPOSIUM
NEWS RELEASE
Payments Industry Experts Convene in Miami to Explore Digital
Acceleration and more in LATAM Marketplace
May 29, 2023 (MIAMI, FL) – The third annual Women in Payments LATAM symposium will welcome a number of industry dynamos and female executive leaders from May 30- May 31 at the InterContinental Miami.
Esteemed keynote speakers and panelists will discuss a variety of issues facing the LATAM payments industry including fragmentation, the use of cash versus digital payments and maintaining customer satisfaction.
“The growth of digital payments in the LATAM market over the last few years has been significant and that’s good news for a number of economies,” says Kristy Duncan, Founder and CEO of Women in Payments. “ A thriving payments ecosystem in LATAM supports cross-border trade and investment by enabling seamless and secure international transactions.”
In addition to discussing industry trends and topics, the Women in Payments symposium will delve into the power of mentorship and women executives paying it forward. According to Duncan, female executive leaders who pay it forward inspire and pave the way for future generations of women to pursue leadership roles. She adds,“paying it forward in female executive leadership is important for building a supportive network that empowers women and for breaking down barriers; encouraging diversity; and promoting equal opportunities for women in leadership positions.”
The line up of speakers attending the two day conference will include executives from JP Morgan, Citi, and Mastercard.
