Women in Payments Welcomes Citi As The Official Innovation Sponsor For The Upcoming ASEAN 2022 Symposium

October 20, 2022 (Toronto, Canada): Women in Payments welcomes Citi for the second year in a row as the official innovation sponsor of the ASEAN Symposium on October 26, 2022, in Singapore.

As a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion, Citi is committed in its efforts to pave the path forward on gender diversity across the financial services industry, including payments

There will be a variety of topics covered over the two-day conference for the ‘Fast and Furious Payments 2025 in ASEAN’ theme with trends and predictions for the next  three years. Senior executives from Citi will participate and lead several  illuminating sessions on payments, digital technology, blockchain and more.

This year we are excited to welcome five-time Paralympic gold medalist, Yip Pin Xiu. Singapore’s most decorated Paralympian will kick off the first morning of the ASEAN 2022 conference. Also highlighting the Women in Payments stage will be a fireside chat with Deven Somaya, Head of Treasury and Trade Solutions for Singapore and ASEAN (Interim).

Women In Payments, founded in 2011 by Kristy Duncan, is a global organization, supporting women and the challenges they face within the male-dominated payments industry. Since then, Women in Payments has grown to over 3,000 members in over 70 countries.
